    Dermal filler is made from a sugar that occurs naturally in the body, called Hyaluronic acid. It can be used cosmetically to add definition and volume to lips and placed beneath your skin, to give a youth and rejuvenated appearance.

    The effects of dermal fillers are immediate and long lasting. As Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, it is broken down over time; therefore the effects are non-permanent and reversible. The results will typically last for six-ten months, meaning most patients will return for treatment once or twice a year.

  • Profhilo

    The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary 'beneath the skin' hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into skin, Profhilo stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.

    One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue. The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.

    Laura graduated with Honours from Cardiff University and is now a qualified member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. To further her surgical skills, Laura worked as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Senior House Officer and Speciality Doctor at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. At the hospital, Laura treated patients who were medically compromised or those requiring complicated dental procedures. Laura began working as a general dental practitioner at Portishead Dental Practice in 2014 and has since been trained in Facial Aesthetics by world renowned, Dr Bob Khanna. Subsequently, she now offers various aesthetic treatments including dermal fillers to her patients and runs an evening Facial Aesthetics Clinic.

    Laura is now accredited with Save Face for their facial aesthetic work. Laura is now offering Profhilo treatment.

    Lucy qualified from the University of Manchester Dental School in 2002 and has since undertaken post-graduate training in Oral Surgery. She particularly enjoys helping anxious patients and people who lack confidence in their smile. Lucy has been trained by Dr Bob Khanna and provides various facial aesthetic treatments including dermal fillers for her patients.
